I just talked to my co-counsel on this trial I have coming up and it turns out I don’t have to go upstate tomorrow. He’s going north today to hopefully have most of the counts dismissed, or something. The offer on this case is good, in fact, its nothing short of miraculous, but the client’s family (and the client) cannot understand the concept of what is going on and how hard the firm has worked to get these fabulous results. Its probably more frustrating than all of the frustrations of my last post.
But now I have to go upstate some day in the next couple of weeks. That will be fine. I’ll grab a flight first thing in the morning, I’ll spend the day and then fly back in the evening and then go to my mind-numbingly dull work the next morning.
Eh.
