My co-worker got a letter from a client who is doing 10 years in state prison on a rape and a weapons charge. The letter informs him of the legal issues he believes he’s got in his appeal (see blondejustice for a lovely summary of a little knowledge being a dangerous thing). One of the many errors, as he sees it, is the fact that he was taking “psychic meds” at the time of trial.

He should’ve been able to predict he’d get convicted!
