This article from the D.C. Bar magazine is pretty interesting and offers good advice for those interested in going solo. When you read it, you feel all uplifted and you think “wow, I could totally do that.” Until you read the last paragraph. Then you think “shit, I have to have an Ivy League education, Big Firm experience, and Fortune 500 clients already in my pocket before I can do that.” I really question the editors’ judgement in ending the article that way. Was it on purpose, or could they just not figure out a natural ending? Anyway, read it. It’s good for you.
